This is about the half-way point of the season, so I thought I would give you guys a team by team breakdown of what has happened so far. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think about your team or someone else’s team. Don’t be discouraged or over excited by what has happened so far. There is a lot of football still to be played…
Week 6 Team by Team Outlook
JoJothe Dogface Boys
This might be the worst looking fantasy team ever. While its not all Joe's fault, it’s a lot Joe's fault. No one would have seen Ray Rice’s monumental collapse coming. But as we have all come to see, being drafted by Joe spells the end of your career.
Saudi Arabia Showboats
His run of most unlucky fantasy owner ever continues. He has never scored below 84 and has been over 107 points 4 times, 3 of which were losses. He is currently 2nd in total points and 11th in record. I believe that it will work out for Tony the way it always does, he will make a late push, get within 1 game of the playoffs and some bad call in a meaningless game will cost him a run at the title.
Bay Sharks
Like father like son this year… but Anthony has had this coming for a long time, Anthony has more wins in the history of the PFFL in games when the combine total score of the game was under 110. How many times of the years has Anthony won a game by the score of 49-47? But it is still have to believe that with the team he has he is only 2-4. This has all the makings of a team that took on the attributes of their QB. Score big and make big plays, but always come up short in crunch time.
Boomtown Gamblers
Talk about an emotional roller coaster… Loss, Win, Loss, Win, Loss, Win… This is how it has gone for Dennis this year. And talk about meaningless stats… Dennis is 0-3 on the road and 3-0 at home. The up and downs will continue for this team, but Dennis has been able to make something out of nothing before.
Atlantis Scallywags
This is by far ESPN’s favorite team in the PFFL, it seem that every week they are projected to be the top scorer, but like most of ESPN projections they are wrong. Jonathan oddly enough is also 3-0 at home and 0-3 on the road… This team has been beat up but Jonathan has been able to hold it together, but if they don’t get healthy soon he will be in trouble, if only he could play Joe every week!
Rock City Renegades
Talk about injury trouble… Just about everyone on his team is beat up or out for the year. I felt 3 weeks ago he would be one of the top 3 team in the league, but he could quickly fall to the bottom 3. It might be impossible to overcome losing Cobb and Jones in back to back weeks.
The Whalers
There is nothing pretty about this team, especially their owner. But sitting at 3-3 they are in a good spot. They have a lot of very solid players, nothing flashy, but good football players all around. They will hang around the .500 mark most of the season, but if a few things fall their way they could seek in to the wild card game.
Sao Paulo Spyder Monkies
Someone needs to send out an Amber alert for Shawn’s team. This team looked unstoppable after week 3. They were 3-0 and had scored over 110 points in every game, but since then… 75 points has been the top of the cart for them. He also lost back to back games to the two lowest scoring team in the league at the time. Now at 3-3 they are going to have to make a move to make something happen. This was a lot of writing to say a simple thing…. He lost to Joe, enough said.
The FaceLifters
In only his second year in the PFFL Tony D has made a name for himself. He is no long “The Other Tony.” Tony D stumbled out of the box, but has since turned it on. With a solid draft and a few big pick ups along the way, Tony D has won 3 of the last 4. He will be in the hunt come the final few weeks of the season.

After a 4-0 start we thought the Lil Marty of old had been resurrected, but after 2 straight losses he has joined the pack. He has the team to RUN away with his division, but we all know how RB can fall apart at any second. I don’t see a big fall off, but the weeks of him rolling out 100+ points could be a thing of the past.
Prime Timers
The Payton Mannings… I mean the Prime Timers are made up of a VERY good QB and a bunch of other guys. But if anyone can make it work its Primey, he has shown over the past year and a half that he knows what strings to pull and what players to sit. Weekly pick-ups and timely benching will keep the Prime Timers near the top all season… Unless Payton goes down, then all bets are off.
Back Woods Bucks
B-U-C-K…Bucks, Bucks, Bucks! You can hear the sounds to rednecks everywhere rejoicing! The Bucks have their best team since 2008 when they won it all. So far, PJ looks like a draft day wizard. He has done very little in the Free Agency market. The Bucks are currently the league leader in points and wins. I don’t see any reason they should slow down. The one week spot on this team in QB, but if they can land a solid QB or if one of their current QBs can catch fire come playoff time they will be tough to beat.
